I have decided that this year I'll be making an effort to post here more often,at least once a week. As far as my knitting is concerned,I am still making steady progress with my lacy jumper and am now up to the armhole shaping on the back.I have almost finished the ribbing on my sleeveless pullover,which is a relief,as ribbing is not my favourite thing and on this particular design,the ribbing is 15cm long!
I made myself a sleeveless maxi dress just before Christmas and plan to do some more sewing this week,but this time I'll be making the shorter version,which also has short sleeves.I do enjoy sewing,but find that I have to be in the mood for it,as it's time consuming and not portable like knitting or crochet.
I applied for a job as a medical receptionist at one of the local practices,but am still waiting for some feedback,as the practice manager was on leave over the festive season and is still busy dealing with all the applications.At this time of the year there are not many jobs available,but I have been applying for as many suitable positions as I can and will just have to start playing 'the waiting game' again!
